Our D has been doing this all year and would do the same to USC as it did to OU, but our offense would do better against USC than it did against OU. The difference is USC is weaker against the pass than OU and probably weaker overall in defense than OU except for maybe pass rush which Mauck would help nullify. Most writers never played college football, so they are no more an expert than us. We won ours on the field and with the system that was in place at the beginning of the year. We got the official trophy. Next year teams, including USC, will battle to win the trophy we have right now. I think a big part of the BCS problem right now is that it had weak leadership this year from the Big East. He should have been defending the system not apologizing for it. The Big East knows it could get dropped from getting an automatic BCS bid, and I wonder if this was this guys attempt to scrap the system.
Nah, I think it was the talent section... You know those Troy boys can sure sew a mean dress. By the way, did I see that the USC football team was going to take over Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?
USC just better thank their lucky stars they do not have to face us, and as chicken sh_t as they are, will probably never have to face us. They want this crystal trophy more than anything and it's killing them to not have it. Their claiming of the national title is all they can claim because they, and the media, both know they could not handle the Sugar Bowl....not against LSU nor OU. USC was lucky that Michigan was over rated. USC is lucky they're in the Pac 10. No one in the SEC would lay down and die for them like Michigan. WE ARE THE ONE AND ONLY NATIONAL CHAMPIONS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY.
This is the last I am going to post about this except for a "goodbye to Ramah" thread because I want to try and enjoy this for a couple of days. This crap below, and whats being reported all over the place is exactly why we can claim all we want to be "THE" champions but history will prove that two will be recognized this year. Not one reporting venue is saying LSU is the National Champion without saying USuCk is the Co champion. I Like what the Michigan Coach said after their game. For Now USC has their share of the National Championship but in the official record books there will only be one National Champion recognized and It will be the winner of the BCS Championship game.
BTW, no self respecting football team wants to be called glamorous rather than gritty. Glamour is a women's magazine, not a football team.
SabanFan, I understand what your saying but your statement says it all: This is the same media that said OU team is the best of all time. LSU has the crystal and the National Championship merchandise not USC.
