Medicare is a good program.
From the standpoint that senior citizens are often not able to afford medical care.
But there should be serious means testing for this program. Often the poor in this country and needy are not old folks, they are middle-class folks with children struggling from paycheck to paycheck.
Demographics have changed. Any government program should be subject to change.
And the change doesn't have to or shouldn't always be to get bigger for the sake of getting bigger.
This stubborn sing-song attitude of people such as yourself that is tailored made for political campaigns rather than reality doesn't help the situation.

 

Liberalism isn't an attitude M.O.M. It's a disease that is undermining our nation's domestic tranquility and general welfare.
