I realize you couldn't tell, but I was being facetious in saying that SC might drop to only 3 or 4 if they lose one of their next two games. There is such a media fascination with them. I loved what the dude on I-Max said tonight. He said that LSU was THE national champions last year, not USC, and that USC shouldn't be ranked #1 now.

Not me! LSU will likely be ranked 8 or 9, at worst, and very possibly 6, like I said (with a bullet!) and UGA will be at about 12 or 13 perhaps lower if the Tigers trounce them really badly. Florida will definitely be ranked below us - they are now!

Yeah, I thought you were serious. I agree about the media fascination, but there is nothing anyone can do about it. Before SC, it was Ohio St and then Miami, before that NEB . . . it's going to happen no matter what. That is why I don't mind seeing SC ranked #1, if they lose they will drop and if not then they deserve to play for the NC (like any other BCS conference undefeated team).

Anyway, I think it will all work out in the end as long as we can continue to win.

That is true, but since last season LSU has gotten it's fair share of press. Usually during any national TV game LSU gets mentioned. We are not getting SC treatment, but way more than we used to. I would say it started when we beat Ill in the Sugar, but not to this level. This UGA game is huge, I'm sure all game you will hear that the winner of this game will be in good shape for the SECCG.
