I think the case was lost when the inept prosecution selected the jury. Marcia Clark thought it was going to be a domestic abuse case and she loaded the jury with women who would side with the abused woman. But they were mostly black women and when the defense made it a racial issue they did not side with the white woman that stole the famous OJ from his black wife. Cochran instantly saw how to win this case and Darden and Clark just never got it.
