there was a place in baton rouge like you are describing, and it has closed down. it was called marrazil.

i got to eat there once, and for a carnivore like myself, it was like the best place ever. it's way out of the price range of a 25 year old guy like myself though.

Crawfish Fetticini or Shrimp Alfredo Pasta!

Of course a good crawfish boil never misses the spot...

KK -- Good call. I love some seafood alfredo. Last week, I went to this place close to my house for take-out, and got a shrimp and crawfish fettucine in garlic cream sauce. Sounds awesome, and most certainly was not.

I've gotta learn how to make my own alfredo/cream sauce. THEN it'll be done right. And I like wheat pasta better anyway.

I'd have to go with thick sterling NY Strip steaks with sauted onions and melted blue cheese on top.
    garlic mashed taters
    Fresh bread
    salad
    Sweet tea

TY sir, was at a big party down in Des Almonds, La today. We have been filming a documentary on the crab business and today was the wrap up. Of course the point of the documentary is to show people how crabs get caught, sold, shipped to market and finally how we cook em up and eat em. So today was a crab boil (bout 250 lbs) and we had some fried soft shell crabs. YUMMY!!!

Of course that was served with about a case of beer! Plus the Saints won... can life get any better?
