If you could pick one SEC team that LSU would never lose to who would it be?

I'd like to whip Auburn badly a time or two while The Tube still has a job. But in the long run, Bama and Tennessee have more total wins than us. Its one of those teams we need to trim down. Flip a freakin' coin.

Man, there's going to be a lot of depressed people on the bayou this season, too [IMG] !! Don't take it too hard. You'll beat Bama this year, which will be just slightly more difficult than beating UL-Monroe or La Tech (who happened to beat Bama like a drum 2 years running), but come to think of it, who won't beat them this year (other than......I don't see a guaranteed win on their schedule).

Back to the topic, I'd love to see LSU never lose to Ole Miss. Let the West come down to LSU and Auburn every year.

Are you saying there won't be enough crawfish to go around at LSU's victory party when they beat the EaglePlainWarTigers?

Aren't mud bugs seasonal? When are they available? I want to bring 10 pounds or so home. Are there any places there in Red Stick that you can buy them live?

Crawfish are seasonal but you can get them boiled or live pretty much from November to July depending on how good the season is from year to year. Lost of places where you can buy them live. Tony's on Plank road is a good place because they supply a lot of the other places that sell them. Everybody sells the live ones by the sack. A sack usually is from 40 to 45 pounds. If all you want is 10 pounds it is better to buy them already boiled.

Yeah, that'd be best. I'm the only one that eats them, so 40-45 pounds would be overkill. Thanks for the info.

The last time I bought some (about 2 years ago in Mississippi), they were around $2.50 a pound if I remember correctly. I got 20 pounds and brought them home. Well worth every penny of it. I got some Zatarans, corn, summer sausage, and potatos; and had one hell of a crawfish boil.

$2.50 per pound?!?!? Dude, you got robbed, big time! You should never ever ever ever pay more than $1.00 per pound. I guess it was the fact you bought them in Mississippi, but if you want to spend a couple of extra bucks on gas, you'll save a lot of money by just going to Slidell or something to get them for under a buck per pound.

I believe prices were up then due to a drought or something like that. I shopped around at several places, and $2.50 was the average price. This was Mississippi, though.
