If you are Les, and LSU loses to Bama, do you pull Mett?

Its a gamble to start Mett IMO...

As to the original question... If YOU are Les... would you pull him? I have to say that I would start thinking about next season. I would start working in Rivers. If he showed better game management, I would stick with him. Mett really has no more experience than Rivers (other than this season).

He has a full JUCO season, but I wouldn't have mind seeing more of the kid. I don't mind the spurrier method with qb's, bench em to send a message, doesn't mean they lose their starting job.

Hey, don't laugh now, but I actually DO miss them. Either of them would be an upgrade in QB play for us.

I think that Miles didn't want to show off the Warecat before Bama, but knew we HAD to beat SC. I think that was going to be a big weapon then, and I still think it will be. I think we might see Ware throw a few passes, even run the option with him.

What makes you think Rivers can play this here game?

Never said to do it against Bama. In fact, I stated the opposite.

Here we go again! I will say that I'm appreciative of the win. Also, the offensive play calling incorporated considerably more pass plays than what we're accustomed to seeing. That's a decent start, even if Mettenberger failed to take advantage.
