I'm sure the students will do thier best to find any auburn vehicles to set aflame if it gets to that point. No reason to destroy anything with any worth.
When I was 15, NOPD cop put a gun to my head at the Point (Lakefront). I didn't deserve it, but that's the way it is. You answer "sir" and you do what you are told. Constitutional rights? Yeah, uh-huh. I agree with those who say don't mess with them. The city gives you broad latitude to have fun. Don't cross the line though by doing something like tearing down the goal posts. Besides, do you really want to go to OPP?
Never really understood the point of destroying property after a win. Celebrate with a beer and scream tiger bait at people - but tearing down goalposts? NOPD is nobody to mess with and on a crowd control night like this they wont hesitate to beat you down.
I'll give you an Amen on that one. If it's rent-a-cops, the posts could come down. But the NOPD will put some serious nightstick on anybody that crosses them.
LSU might be the first university to show the world how to truly celebrate a big victory. No over turned cars or burning buildings . . . just lots of drunken stoned fans taking over the night in New Orleans. I bet there will be more nudity than destruction.
Just wait a few months and you'll see the Girls Gone Wild LSU wins the Sugar Bowl and NC DVD/tape for $9.99. GEAUX TIGERS
