I am Junior here at LSU, i am not dumb enough to not read that, i just wanted to make sure that the price you buy the share from is over the price of the ticket? I bought 2 two shares at 170 and they charged my bank about 340?? so that means i am guaranteed 2 tickets to the game??? If so, are the seats going to be good?

I went through ticketreserve as well. I got 4 tickets at a reservation fee of 25 a piece. My account was charged $100, and if LSU goes, they will charge me another $135*4 (for each ticket). It means that if LSU goes to the Orange or Rose (any BCS Bowl), I am guaranteed those 4 tickets together in the stadium. There is no indication as to where the seats will be, but atleast they are together.

Hope that helps... it is a bit confusing at first

Sweet!!!!! LSU students are offering 2, count it TWO, tickets for the bowl games!!! I wish i was a little more patient, but i figured i'll sell my shares back hopefully for the same price. Do you know that works mac???

I wouldnt count on actually getting your hands on a student ticket. It will probably be a lottery, and there is no way that you will be able to get 2. Hang on to what you have, if you already have some! There are 30,000+ students, and probably less than 1,000 tickets allotted for students.

I am a senior and have attended every home gome since i came to lsu, half the away games, Went to the Sugar, Peach, and Capital One Bowls with my father(except sugar, only got one ticket because they only alotted 1 ticket.) Also considering the fact that it is in Pasadena and its going to be hella expensive for a normal college student. Students have the priority point plan, and i know i am high on the list because of the extra games, so i am going to bet the house that i'll get my 2 tickets. Also, i'll extend the invite to any other students on this forum, that if you are planning to go to the bowl game and have an extra ticket me and my dad will buy it from you, and if you are going alone are more than welcome to stay where we stay free of charge if you give us your ticket at face value =) . Anyways with the bet the house deal, i wasn't trying to be insulting in anyway...i am just excited they are putting up two tickets for the BCS games.

from my past experience with student tickets:

if you can request two...you will get two (assuming you have the required priority points)

I guess that I have never been granted any because I never go to away games through the LSU student system (which is totally bogus anyway) I went to every home game last year, and to the Bama and and Ole Miss game... I still didnt get tickets to the SECCG or Peach. Nevertheless, I was present at both the seccg and the peach! I guess that I have bad luck whe nit comes to student tickets. With my parents holding 6 season tickets, it is easier to sit in their seats in section 303 with a date, than fight to get a good low seat in the student section.

I am glad that you have been able to get your hands on them. If I come up with any extra nonstudent tickets, ill let you know...
