Im a student and recieved e-mails about it a few days ago. But that may be because I get all Geaux Mail... not sure.
I got tickets through the Rose Bowl website... They are guaranteed if LSU goes to any BCS bowl. I figured that if some people got them from the main source, more Tigers will be able to get their hands on tickets. I only requested tickets through my family account for capital one bowl (just in case we get screwed!) So count me in on flying out to Cali to the game... already have a place to stay, etc...
you talking about Ticketreserve? I checked the other day and the Rose Bowl site wasn't selling any. Said come back in December and some will be avail via Ticketmaster.
Yes... I checked ticketmaster, and those arent available until after December 5 I think. I went to the tournament of roses site and used ticketreserve. I only paid like $25 extra per ticket. Now They area going for $200 extra per ticket. Im glad I made the transaction last Saturday night!
Hell yeah... if i would have known that I could easily turn around and sell the rights back, I would have bought enough to pay for my own tickets!!!
I'm holding out and will prob just sell the extras I have to help cover the cost of the trip. I wish I knew how many I was getting from LSU.
i don't understand ticket reserve.......maybe it is really simple, but can someone explain it to me???
www.ticketreserve.com Welcome to the TicketRESERVE® 2007 BCS All-Access Marketplace. This market allows you to both Buy and Sell FanFORWARDs, which are tradable ticket reservations for a face value ticket to see your favorite team participate in either the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl, or Sugar Bowl if they qualify. "A 2007 BCS All-Access FanFORWARD gives you the right and obligation to purchase a face value ticket to see your team play in the 2007 Fiesta, Orange, Rose, or Sugar Bowls, if they are selected to play in any of those 4 BCS Bowl Games. The stand alone 2007 National Championship Game is not included in the BCS All-Access FanFORWARD. The stand alone National Championship Game is a new addition to the BCS for 2007 and will take place at the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix a week after the 4 BCS Bowl games Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, Orange are played. For example, you can buy 4 BCS All-Access FanFORWARDs for your favorite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes. If Ohio State makes it to the Fiesta, Orange, Rose, or Sugar Bowl in 2007, your 4 FanFORWARDs give you the right and obligation to pay face value for your tickets and you will be on your way to cheering for the Buckeyes in 1 of the 2007 BCS Bowls, excluding the stand alone 2007 National Championship Game. From the day you buy your FanFORWARDs, up until your team is either eliminated or the market is closed you have the ability to sell your FanFORWARDs in our marketplace. Or, if you hold on to your FanFORWARDs and the Buckeyes don't make it to 1 of the 4 BCS Bowls, there is no refund of the price paid for your FanFORWARDs. "
