Ohio State, period; however, it sounds like we have a legit shot at the Sugar with an OSU loss to Michigan (which I REALLY believe will happen. C'mon--it HAS to.)

Can we really jump USC if we win out and OSU loses? It's starting to sound that way...

I would puke if we had to play Fla State or, God forbid, TCU. IF LSU wins out, it will be a complete injustice if we are not in the Sugar, regardless of whether the Luckeyes or USC wins out.

 

Mikeb, I disagree. Look, I hope and believe that Michigan beats Ohio state. But, if the Luckeyes win, they deserve to go to the Sugar over any team with an equal record. They are the defending champs (thanks to a ref) and shoudl defend their title in such a scenario. Now, if it comes down to USC and LSU only, we can pass them. But, blame the dumbass SEC AD's for changing the tiebreaker to basically give UGA the spot in the SECC game. We get no credit for playing and beating them again under the curreent system, but would get great lift from either a Florida or, especially, a Tennessee conquest. Leave it to the SEC to screw one of their own out of a MNC.

 

If we can't have a HOME GAME IN THE BIG EASY FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP (damn that sounds sweet), I want Ohio State!

Jwho77.....in a way, I do believe the defending national champs should be able to defend their title....if they were playing like national champs! Ohio State is one of the luckiest damn teams I've ever seen.
