1. Even if we don't get any improvement at QB, we could still be a better team for two big reasons. One, as you mention, being in year 2 of Chief's defense, and two, as others have mentioned in regard to the spring game, the renewed commitment to the running game.

SF is right, the spring game is a glorified practice. Even if the QBs don't get any better, we will have more flexibility to limit the amount of impact they will have (positive or negative) as opposed to last year. Let them do only what the coaches know they can do, pound it out on the ground, and let the defense and special teams give us field position.

Having said all that, though, I'm with you on being upset about a lack of progress.
  2. As will I, but I don't see the need to stress about it in March and April. Especially with a National Championship contending Baseball team out there 4 or 5 times a week.

  3. In case you didnt know this is a forum for conversation about LSU. While its awesome to have a national power baseball team, football is THE sport here. The Spring game was the most recent football game/news to come out. So of course it will be the topic if discussion, which is the purpose of this forum. Outside of TC the conversation has been pretty truthful and accurate. Why do you feel the need to constantly come here and complain. For all the times you point out people being negative, you come here with just as much negativity. Often putting others down in the process.

There is nothing wrong with the conversations going on here.

  4. I don't even stress about it in November or December.
  5. see and that is why i think it will happen this year. if you keep dangling your hand in front of the snake it's going to bite you eventually. I really hope it doesn't, and judging by my track record this should be enough to ensure they WONT lose one of those games.
  6. Get over yourself Mr. Member since August 2009. I'm well aware of what TF is all about. I'm putting my opinion out there, not stifling your right to discuss and/or disagree.
  7. happened under saban, no reason to think it can't under les. hope not, but if so, we'll survive it
  8. No but you constantly criticize anyone who doenst agree with you by resorting to name calling and the like. I wont derail this thread anymore. Who cares when I joined? Fact is I was a memeber before that but I had login problems with the other name so I had to make a new account.

  9. Show me the name calling .
  10. Makes a lot of cents! There will be less pressure on the shoulders of the QB's, and hopefully they can play within themselves and concentrate better on management. I have a feeling they will be able to perform better under those circumstances.

    More cents......

Sorry, these days, all I can think of is "NO PELOSI" :D
