With Jimbo turning down two jobs, Mississippi St. & Cincincatti, it would seem as though he would indeed be a logical choice for taking over *IF* Saban were to leave. As everyone else, I want Saban around for a long time.

As for Spurrier... I always hated visor boy, but I suspect that is becuase he was commonly on the opposing sideline coaching a team with a commanding score in his favor of 60-3 or similar.... If he were interested in any college job, the A.D. would be quite foolish not to entertain the possibility.

If Saban left and Jimbo hired

we would be back to usual within 3 years. Emmert would hire a proven coach, not an assistant.

I know we're getting WAY ahead of ourselves here, but yall don't think Jimbo Fisher would be a good replacement?

you're an idiot if you wouldn't want spurrier. i like nick better, but spurrier is a winner and he did it in the best conference for over 10 years. he also did it without ncaa violations and without having too many a-holes on the team.

jimbo is still unproven, but sometimes its best to take a chance on an assistant. plus, within the coaching circles, they know who the best assistants are. stoops and richt were picked up by big programs and turned out ok, huh?

i think they'd try to get ferentz (iowa), rodriquez (west virginia), or tedford (cal).

hey! what about norm chow? i don't know how he'd turn out, but i'd love to steal him from usc, see them wilt and keep us at the top.

It's rude to call fellow tiger fans "idiots"
everyone has an opinion. Please reserve idiot calling to Ole Miss fans ;)
