This team has proven that it is not easily distracted.

Jefferson has had to look over his shoulder and has been pulled for Lee before. Now its his turn to push.

I'm delighted that you are not the coach. Look, there are battles for position day-in and day-out on a football team. They can handle it.

To his credit, he did correct the Curley Hallman catastrophy and brought some magic back to LSU.

    ...then he hired Tepper...

Miles just said that it's Lee's opportunity first (to be starter) and JJ utilized as necessary because of his different skill sets.

I would say if Jarret Lee cannot well handle the pressure from people behind him, then he doesn't deserve to play as a starter.

Yep ... JL wants to be the one to say .. "here's your clip board".

Anyway .. we'll see soon enough how it affects Lee. If he goes down in smoke this weekend ... yep ... it will be a distraction. If he continues to improve like he has over the last 4 games .... then nope .. it won't be.

That would be all fine and good if the pressure was due to "performance" .. but when the pressure is pure politics .... it becomes a different story.

Heard that too. The crowd liked it. Baton Rouge would go nuclear if it was any other way. You can't ask for a better job than what lee has done. He has managed the game well and made the throws when he had to. His completion percentage has been amazing. He has thrown one int and is kicking arse in the red zone. I bet I could tell you who would be the qb at florida or bama if both these qb's played there. I pray that this doesn't change this team in any bad way.

I'm not worried about this anymore. Jj deserves to be back. CLM has total control of the situation, and I have faith in him to do what's best. The team has chemistry. They are still improving, and they are winners. Eat grass, and enjoy the ride.

Fans just like to worry. We all knew Miles wasn't going to take the starting job away from Lee. The fans will be more distracted than the players will be.
