That statement right there is why I will never understand Miles haters. It's so unrealistic that it's not even irritating - it's just kind of silly.

I can tell you this. There will be some very good coaches stumbling over each other to get the LSU job if Les Miles were to cough it up for whatever reason.

Check the recruiting ratings - this is a dream job only surpassed by maybe a handful of schools. Just have to hope the selection committee wouldn't make a stupid choice, that's all.

Well the 2 losses in 2006 we had no run game in those games. Either way, I said that it was only my OP that 2007 gets the edge over 2006.

I think people undervalue the importance of LUCK in a season...

Not from what I saw out of Lee in the Bama game... The only positive thing that happened after JJ got hurt was Ridley scoring a TD, thats it...

Actually, we needed 2 scores to beat UF and the way the game was played by the O all night, or all season for that matter, No way we would have beat them.

Even with Luck in 2009/2008, our D sucked in 2008 and our O in 2009. You dont win a Champ with those 1 off those being as bad as they were.....

You can win a Champ with a lights out D and normal O, but not an O that was ranked 112th. Yea, our D was good enough last year, but our O just couldn’t do much of anything.

Likewise, 2008 our D could hardly give us a break and then we also had the J Lee thing, but even then, the only good thing about the O was a good run game….

I've been saying this. Florida and Bama completely controlled those games. We were not a play or two away from beating those teams. We got dominated in the trenches and we were lucky to be as close as we were in those games.

Muschamp or Petrino. LSU wanted Petrino when he was at Louisville. Pertrino with our offensive talent..... would be sick.

Pellini is a step backwards. Our Defense was beginning to struggle under him before he left.

Yeah - sort of like Texas Tech with Leach - we score 99, but they'd score 100+. No D. That wouldn't be fun.

Just my opinion, but I love to watch a team that has a nasty ass D. Offense is fun, but D wins championships. Feel free to disagree.

No. I stand behind this statement 100%. Defense is where it's at.
