I would like to see others OP on this, but HOW IN THE HELL, would we have won another Title with Lee or JJ the past 2 years????????
According to who? I mean, stat wise, 2007 was just a bit better than 2006........and IMO, we had real heart and MEN on that team. and we just ran teams over and over and over... You could go by overall O in 2006 vs 2007, but in 2007 we had almost 1,00 more yards on O but ranked less. We also had just under the same passing yards in 2007 as we did in 2006. We had way more rushing yards in 2007 than 2006 and a almost equal D. IMO, the better running game gives 2007 the edge b/c I feel the passing game was equal....Stat wise.... We just didn't have the luck in 2006 that we had in 2007.. Simple as that.... Also. b/c of the run game, IMO, is why we lost to AUub and UF in 2006....
Dude the 2006-2007 team under achieved we scored three points in the lost to auburn with a team that had jamarcus russell,dewayne bowe,buster davis,early doucet and jacob hester. a defense that had glen dorsey,ali highsmith tyson jackson,chevis jackson,and laron landry. les miles said it himself that the 2006-2007 team was the best team he had.
i think that last year we could have possibly won a title bc we competed with everyone we played if a couple calls go our way last year and a couple bad plays are reversed we could have easily been the ones holding up that crystal ball last year
*absolutely...i watched the bama game three times we controlled that game even with LEE playing.... *We score a TD in the florida game we win. Well if that referee would have put some glasses on. *the ole miss game well do i really have to say anything lol
Why on earth would Gruden make a good choice? Don't you guys miss the days when the defense was what made people scared to play LSU? Give me a defensive guy any day. Gruden is totally offensive-minded.
