Ok, I am rethinking this....how far does USC fall with a loss tonite? It's conceivable that they could be behind UT, LSU AND Penn State in the human polls.....if that's the case, then Penn State is #2 in the BCS and LSU #3 in the BCS.....and LSU would pass Penn State with a win over Georgia in the BCS....then it's LSU and UT in the Rose Bowl goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could this really be happening?
thanks a lot istslls, it's gonna take at least two more party cups of Beam and Diet for me to get a wink of sleep tonight! http://www.expedia.com Tickets from Houston to LA are about $300...:hihi:
I've seen SC come back so many times this year from half time deficits. This one is far from over. I don't think Fresno has the horses to stay with them for 60 minutes. We can only hope. I'm so sick of hearing the SC stuff at work. Please Fresno pull off the miracle.
Could the planets be aligning themselves again, as they did in 2003?!? Geaux Bulldogs of Fresno State!! Props to GT! Hey, ced you can lose that offensive miami avatar now!
unfortunately, i dont think usc or ut will drop below #2 in bcs with a loss. penn st gains on us this week and i fear lsu must kill uga to pass them. killing uga will be very tough with shockley.
I don't know if that's necessary, as we're already ahead of PSU in the human polls. It's the SOS that's keeping us down, I think. I could be wrong and there are quite a few guys here that know more than me on this topic!
It won't matter what score we post on GA, just so we beat them Georgia should be 9-2 when we play them (if they beat GTech) and this will help our SOS a great deal, thus giving us the needed boost in the computer polls while most every other team ahead of us is idle. Thus, LSU passes Penn State in the BCS.
It was too much to ask for *both* Miami and USC to lose yesterday. Besides, the close call may be a blessing in disguise: the later either USC or Texas lose, the better for LSU. USC and Texas are both stronger in the computer polls, and a 1-loss USC would have moved back up in both human and computer polls w/ a win at UCLA. Now there's no safety net for USC, whereas a loss last night would have given them the cushion Texas still has as well--an extra game to make a late push for the top-ranked 1-loss team. Hey, it's a glass half full way of looking at it, but desperate times call for desperate measures. GEAUX AGGIES! GEAUX BUFFALOES! and GEAUX BRUINS! :crystal: :crystal: :crystal:
