I'd say best team in my lifetime. I don't know that many could argue best ever as it's pretty subjective and the game has changed a lot of the decades. However, we still have to take care of some business first before we start buying T-Shirts.
I posted on this thread earlier about how impressive our record would be if we won out, beating 9 ranked teams. But, I'll tell you, there is so much football left, I hate to get too far ahead of ourselves in speculation, even as a fan. I have never been nervous this season, not once, not even against ALA. The Tigers this year just seem so focused and just put on their helmets and do their job each week. I am not really nervous about ARK, but speculating about best team ever kind of stuff does make me nervous, just b/c accomplishments like we are discussing are just so hard to achieve. I am just going to kick back and continue to enjoy what has already been the best season I have ever witnessed for LSU football without trying to put even more pressure on than already exists this week.
