Great analogy. I think our O wont be as explosive as Florida but our D should be better. LSU will certainly be in good hands, but with that schedule it wont be an easy road. Hopefully another top 10-15 finish. If RP comes through you never know though.

Does DANDY DON know Auburn has 20 returning starters coming back with maybe the best prep school running back coming in. I dont see LSU being picked ahead of Auburn. Auburn will have maybe the best defense in the country next year and a more versatile offense with a mobile quarterback although inexperienced. I'd have to pick Auburn in the West and Florida or Georgia in the East. All 3 teams will be in th preseason TOP 10.

I agree it is difficult to go undefeated, but the fact remains that we have been the favorite in every game we have played for the last two seasons.

That will not be the case next year.

I would have to disagree about our offense next year i actually i think it should be more explosive. why do i say this well our reciever are going to be just find even with doucet leaving byrd has done a very good job and tolliver will be a complete stud in due time, as long as any of the talented recruits pans out we will be more than fine. ii expect the running game to better than ever even with hester gone i think with losing hester we now have the ability to break a big play with either of the backs we have now. because i think hester was a good short yardage back scott, murphy, and williams have shown the can make big plays. I definately expect the quarterback play to be better bringing in a quarterback with a stronger arm and more of an athlete he gives us the most dnamic weapon to date, example tebow a quarterback that can run as well as throw it is unstoppable.

defensively is were we may have a problem but the front 4 should be fine favorite and crew should be able to handle the job. linebacker is were i think we are going to get killed. the secondary should be fine i love chad jones we wat miss a beat with him at safety. i am also impressed with jai eugene so i think the secondary will be fine....

i believe if perriloux can stay out of trouble he will give us a chance to win any ball game....and dont anoint florida sec champions yet they are good but i think there run game is anemic, and if tebow keeps being as wreckless running the ball some1 is boud to drop the hat on him sooner or later. florida is a tebow injury away from mediocre

Who said it wouldn't be?

Our starting 3 (LaFell, Byrd, Toliver) will be good, but we don't have a game breaker like Doucet at this point. We'll see how far Toliver & Byrd come in the off season. We'll need a true freshman to step up to be our #4 because not a single guy from the class of Jackson, Dixon, or the Mitchells looks ready to step up.

Hester never gets negative yardage & reads the plays well. I sure hope one of our guys can develop into the type of player he was but with explosive ability on top of it. We should be fine though.

If Tyson Jackson comes back, I've got no worries about the DLine. Favorite, Alexander, and Nevis can hold it down. Woods is the question mark here. DE should be fine (assuming Pittman leaves & Tyson Jackson stays) with the addition of Ricky Jean Francois.

Jai Eugene hasn't shown anything to impress on the field. At this point he's a pass interference waiting to happen. And yet he's shown more than anyone else. Safety should be fine, but corner back is frightening right now.

We should be fine at linebacker if Beckwith comes back (as I expect).

Florida has 2 other 5 star QB's behind Tebow. They would miss him, but they'd be okay without him. As for their running game, Moody from USC transferred there & you can't discount Tebow so their running game should be fine.

parso yes florida has 2 5start recruits on the bench but u and i know those 5 stars represent a body of work that was done on the high school level not the sec also i watched film on both when they were being recruited. not one of them can cause the problems that tebow can.

floridas running game is still anemic i dont count tebows ability to run as a running game just my opinion..and i mayne wrong but didnt moody just transfer from USC so he would have to sit out 2008.

jai eugene is going to be more than fine. i think u said he is a pass interference waiting to happen, i agree but its not because he is getting beat badly its because he is usually all over the ball... the times he has been in i havent seen him beaten badly on any play.

remember im not writing for sports illustrated. so just read what i write i know your smart enough to get the point cuz u always do:thumb:

Moody transferred early into or before the season, so I believe this year counts as the year he's sat out. Vball will know. You have to count a QB in the running game when he runs as many times & for as many yards as Tebow.

I think Jai will be fine, but he's got a lot of technique to learn. He was a highly recruited CB, but he didn't play the position in high school. What about the other CB position though, not to mention the nickel & dime backs?
