Thats the fun thing. Running the football like we would, would only create bigger plays for our talented wide recievers. If you want, run the triple option out of the shotgun so that you can have 2-3 other recievers available. But I believe with the talent at the skill positions that we have we could dominate by running the triple option.

LSU's schedule favors a serious run at a title next season. The best choice for LSU, IMHO, is to do whatever it takes to secure CJF through next season.

failure to do so will severely diminish the opportunity in the short-term.

No doubt. I'd like to keep this staff together one more year. Learning a new offense or defense is not conducive to making a title run. It can be done, but it doesn't help.

Honestly, I'm more worried about Pelini leaving.

Exactly. We have an """"offensive minded coach"""". Pelini is the foundation of our #1 defense. We get alot of players back on that side of the ball and learning a new system would set them back.

I wouldn't be suprised for Miles to hire a QB coach & he be his own OC. I think it comes down to who's available (and realistic) and how similar the style is to our current offense because we don't want to change it too much going into next year. If there is somebody with those qualities, I think we seriously persue them. If nobody really fits the bill then I expect Miles to be the offensive coordinator.
