Couple of thoughts. Lee looked lost. He had some kind of nervous neck-twitch thing going on, and he looked like his shoulder pads were suffocating him. He just looked like a guy not comfortable in his own skin. And he certainly played that way. The Toliver hit was actually a nice pass IMO. The safety just got lucky with timing, and then made a thug hit on him. How that's not a penalty, I cannot fathom. Lucky Toliver is OK. I have been a Lee supporter (I still like the kid and wish him well), but there is no doubt that Jefferson is the only viable SEC QB we've seen play this year for LSU. At this point, I'm wondering how much of the playbook Chris Garrett has at his disposal. Because if Jefferson gets hurt again...
