    The funny thing about that Duke Edwards election is that before it, you could not find any white people who were NOT for Duke.

    Now you can't find any who voted for him.

    I guess it is the opposite of the John Gilliam runback for the Saints where every person in the state claims they were there.

    This party crap drives me nuts. I was registered Democrat going into this election. I hadn't made up my mind about who I was voting for until about a week before the primary. I backed Jindal because I believe he was the best candidate out there. Now that Blanco is in office, she should be held accountable for the decisions she makes. They effect us all.

    Despite being from Franklin, I am not a supporter of Mike Foster's time in office. I didn't vote for Bush. So don't begin to call me a right wing nut. I had still considered myself Democrat before I realized how blindly the majority votes Democrat.

    Why must there be this bickering over which party is better? Why not look at the candidates individually instead?
