If Arkansas jumps Bama and/or LSU and LSU stays ahead of Bama, Arkansas goes to the SECCG. If Arkansas jumps Bama and/or LSU and LSU drops below Bama, Bama goes to the SECCG. If Arkansas stays below Bama and LSU (not matter if Bama jumps LSU or not), LSU goes to the SECCG.
Correct top 2 BCS teams go by head to head record unless 1 team is ahead by at least 5 spots in the BCS rankings (and that obviously won't be the case). Arkansas would not jump Bama, I do not believe. Not even sure they would jump us as our entire SOS is better than Arkansas. It would be a clusterphuck no matter what.
I heard that if arky beats us we will not play for the sec championship. They were talking about it on wwl this morning at 5:30am. I may have heard wrong. If arky wins and lsu drops below both arky and bama then we don't go. Bama will go because they beat arky head up.
So even if we lose to arky we still may have the points to remain higher on the bcs rankings then arky. I would guess it would also be how bad we lost and how far we fell in the coaches and Harris polls. Our computer ranking would still be high , I'm sure. I remember us falling in 07 from 2nd to 7th after losing to arky. That's why I thought we would fall below arky. I don't think we lose to arky at home this year though. I just wish it was a night game.
Won't matter . This team is on a mission and maybe besides Bama , No other team can compete with us on both sides of they ball . We smoke Arky and UGA and play okie state are Boise in NOLA .
