Texastigers and Tigerfan, I have been on this board all along. I haven't ran and hid anywhere. I have never and I repeat never said that LSU should be jealous of bama for having Fran. You need to rephrase your statement to "some Alabama fans"! Coach Fran is now going to the recruits from Alabama that he was trying to get for bama and trying to sway them away to aTm. I'm sorry, but IMO thats unhanded and dirty pool! My goodness thats like kicking us when we're down. I DO appreciate everything he did for the program. I will give him credit where credit is due. I only wish the best for him in the future. I do, however, have the right to not approve of the way he left.
Dixie Darling, you have been nothing but class I was speaking of a post I read on TiderInsider that was stating that Fran was not that good of a coach and that he wanted him fired after the Auburn game, and that the Tennessee win meant little because Tennessee is bad this year. Please understand we are not trying to kick you when you are down. You have been great around here, and none of these posts are directed at you.
Thanks texastigers. I'm sorry for over reacting. My feeling are on my sleeve right now. It just seems that every time things start looking up, another bomb drops. I know it's hard for yall to understand because your not going through it. I can honestly say that I hope you never have to.
