Heartbreaker of a Loss to Rutgers for Lady Tigers! Man, I'm sick for my Tigers. :sob: Seemed like the lid was over the basket for the last 5 minutes and, obviously, the overtime period. Seimone was draped by the defense, and looks like no one stepped up. But, I have no fear that the Ladies will bounce back strong and hard against Georgia. If we had to have a blemish on an otherwise perfect season so far, better that it is an OOC game. No shame in losing to Rutgers ... they are a quick, talented, well-coached team who will go deep into the NCAA tourney. Maybe we'll get a chance for revenge post-season. :yelwink2: GEAUX LADY TIGERS!!!!!
Tough loss. I saw the whole thing. I was there. Nobody gets through the basketball season undefeated anyway. But I would have liked to see the Lady Tigers win in person.
Rutgers is playing the best ball in the country right now. It will be fun to watch them as they hit the Big East with UCONN, Notre Dame and BC. Pressure is off LSU now...time to hit the SEC hard.

Yes!! I saw Carlene Mitchell at the game. She wears a nice dress and heels while coaching. She looks like one of the great looking women you see in Manhattan on a business day, rather than a coach.
