i guess it's a fine line, but, having said that, there should be room for mature discussion. if a particular channel on tv offends you then change the channel. if you don't like the movie walk out.... this looks too much like political correctness to me.

I didnt argue about the content of the thread , I didnt defend Obama or anything like that in the thread. I was talking about the use of the "n-word" being used in the thread. So it seems like you have your panties in the wad.

People posted their points of view, i posted mine, but why do we have rules if you can post the n word in threads here. No matter if you are quoting someone, its offensive.

I think if we are mature enough and recognize he was citing the original phrase (all in a serious tone) then we can continue our pretty civil debate on Obama.

    The n-word. :hihi:

This kills me. It has to be the only in word in the human language completely off limits....to everyone except n-words that is.

So if something offends you do you not speak up about it?
Like I said, I wasnt defending Obama, i had a different view point on some of the comments made in the thread.

Every situation is different. But considering it was a quote it shouldnt change the thread. The matter was relevant to the discussion.

Listening to the KKK talk is pretty offensive to me but to learn and study people you have to look at quotes, pictures, audio, etc.

Getting back to that thread....what's the difference between having 89% of the black vote and having 98%. Hell, I'd still call that sewed up. In the history of the white race, we've never been that unified on anything. And, trust me, I know Osama can't win the white house with just the black vote, and never alluded to such. Work on your reading comprehension skills my friend....you seem to misunderstand us quite often. I was pointing out the obvious...he's trying to get more of the white vote. Are you saying he isn't?

Yea but you also have to be considerate enough to censor some of the quoting text, in a public forum.

Its easy to use that language behind a keyboard, but what are the rules for?

I understand what you are saying TB3 and I have no beef with that and I respect your point of view.

Seems your compreshension skills are the ones that need work and who the hell is "us". I pointed out that white people voted for him and I also pointed that I realize that he is trying to get more of the white votes in areas that didnt vote for him in the primary. I guess you read what you wanted to read. Also, Bill Clinton and Al Gore, got 88 to 90 percent of the black vote as well. Oh by the way, those to men are white.
