I've always meant to mention this, but I recall LSU getting the short end of the two years LSU played georgia in the late 90's. Remember when Booty totally botched the 2-point conversion to win the game in Athens. Quincy Carter had a lot to do with those close games, and I have always felt that Our two wins last year more than made up for these heart breaking losses:
    1998 LSU 27 Georgia 28 Baton Rouge

    1999 LSU 22 Georgia 23 Athens
So you can take the close game argument and get out of here, because it's simply not true. I say even-steven and hope to see you next year in Athens to repay the loss. We're simply unbeatable in domes.

well if you're gonna give credit where credit is due...it belongs to Lou Tepper who made every QB look like the next coming of Joe Montana. I think even Utah St set a personal best passing record against us.

If I remember correctly we had poor ole LB Thomas Dunston "guarding" (if you call it that) some decent little player named Champ Bailey.

IT IS HARD TO PLAY WITH THE INTENSITY GEORGIA HAD AGAINST LSU, TWO WEEKS IN A ROW FOR ANY TEAM. THEY WERE READY FOR US AFTER THE LOSSES LAST YEAR AND THEY PREVAILED. IT IS ONLY MY OPINION, BUT I THINK GEORGIA WILL BEAT AUBURN AND BREAK OLE TUBBY'S HEART.

Champ Baily probably could of played in the NFL as a freshman he was so good.

Tigerzipcode, I think Geogia thinks they won the NC since we were the "Game of the Century" (insert voiceovers). Just as I predicted, they took the next week off because they left all they had on the field. Too bad LSU 2004 is not even close to LSU 2003. Most of that team is in the NFL. UGA should still beat AU and lsoe to UF as usual.
I can't wait for Tenn vs. Bama...

So Auburn will have an easier opponent in Atlanta?

    Sure does look like it...

Not dissin' your team. I just believe they played way above their heads against LSU and can not be expected to do that consistently, if at all.

Any team or any fans of a team who are convinced that there is an officiating conspiracy against them.....well.....

It is not a question of if cheating occured at this point.

It is more of a question of why it occured.

You don't miss a foot touching down in the endzone 2 feet in-bounds.
You don't miss an off sides call when the defensive man never touches anyone and goes right back to the same position two counts before the snap.
You don't see a flag coming out when a punt returner is thirty yards farther down the field.

The initial investigation shows ties to guess who?

man this is pretty pathetic. is richt spewing this garbage too or just the fans? questionable call in the endzone, sure. happens all the time.

offsides and punt return? you're totally grasping.

terrible clock management by Richt as usual. of course. How about Reggie Brown's ability to get out of bounds?

you had control of game after getting your asses handed to you most of the game by a true freshman QB in your house. all you had to do was manage the clock yet you are trying to blame the officials? the outcome was in your hands yet you blew it. that's all you can ask for.

Have you seen the replays of the Touchdown?

This is being pursued through proper channels as Gaston has already agreed that an inquiry is justified.

I said it was a bad call. what's your point? yeah those inquiries always work and you'll be granted a forfeit. Its simply making your team feel better about themselves and your coach for blowing a game they had in their control. We should inquire about the Auburn and every game before with a questionable call which only includes every game ever played.

I like the fact you want to blame the refs and can only hope Richt does the same to deflect the attention off his idiotic clock management. Makes the pain linger on forever though.

its time to move on comes to mind. wait, thats someone elses line.
