Ok so if people can claim 28 points a game are not enough and that our O will get not better than this. Then it is safe for me to assume that our D is legit and will only allow 11 points a game.

This leaves 17 point margin of victory. I like it.

Eventually LSU is going to be down to some team by 10-14 points(all teams eventually get down by this amount) and the offense is going to be struggling to move the ball. In a panic, Les is going to look over to the bench and see Lee sitting there and throw him to the Lions.

"Go get'em boy, you wanted the chance, you got 15 minutes to lead a comeback against Alabama!" -Les

I'll have to check, BUT I dont think we trailed ANYBODY in ANY game last year by 2 touchdowns!

And our Offense & Defense WAS WORSE!

I believe twice, I said 10-14 points. Penn state 13 points I believe, and lost to Florida 3-13.

Heck, Alabama was down 14 to Auburn last year, rest assured, eventually they are going to be behind. This is playing out like a Greek tragedy for Lee unfortunately, I really like the kid but you can see this coming. If it happens, I hope it is against someone other than Alabama or Florida but getting thrown to the Lions is never a pleasant event.

Wow, a new angle, same shtick.:rolleye33: So freakin what. The kid is a competitor and is waiting for that moment. Great players dream about ,that moment, the moment they can make the game winning plays. Unlike you they don't look at it as some horrible situation that they are being thrown to the lions. Get over yourself.

    I said 2 touchdowns.

You have to acknowledge that as bad as we were, we never trailed by 2 touchdowns or more. I have said it before and I'll say it again

Actually, I never said the team was bad... the defense has played very good except for the 4th Q of NC, the ST has played lights out... now the offense... yes not so good. Last year the D couldn't get off the field.

I partially agree with your quote, the talent is very high, higher than I thought this year, still, you need to execute and you need coaches to put you in a position or opportunity to win, especially when it's tight. I don't think LSU will get blown out in any game this year.

We'll see, should be a fun month or so coming up. Hopefully Crowton can prove me wrong over the next 4-6 weeks and everyone out here will be jumping for joy because I will have to shutup.

Because God forbid you have anything positive to say. If you run out of negatives, you'll just shutup?? Seriously?? As stated...get over yourself. :rolleye33:

Toliver was saying in an interview about how disapointed he was in his performance this year. He knows in order to get noticed by NFL scouts he needs to put up some numbers. When he came to LSU we were doing a great job throwing the ball. Flynn was on the money and would make 25 yard strikes with regularity. It doesn't matter if it's jl or jj slinging the ball to me as long as someone does. Kids come to LSU in many cases because of the history we have of producing NFL stars. What reciever would pick LSU if they thought they wouldn't get a chance to shine. With only 15 passes a game there is not enough opertunity for them to get noticed. I can only hope that we can get this passing game rolling for the sake of players like toliver. He could be a star if given the true opertunity.
