Brantley can barely handle the center exchange right now, much less run a no-huddle.

I couldnt agree more, 3 & Outs are a HUGE NO NO, especially off a turn over, or a big defensive stand!

    Kills momentum!

that's not on Brantley though, it's Pouncey who can't get him the ball. They will be better by the time they play us.

AS far as last year versus this year, I would point out that we have played a significant out of conference team-UNC- and have posted solid wins against an improved Miss State team.

No, some of it has not been pretty. However, the game where our passing game was the best and our defense was at its worst was against ranked UNC. Sorry Washington fans, but even with several players out they are a better team than you were last year. If stats were your primary concern, perhaps we should have just done like everyone else and played nothing but rent-a-wins before starting the easy part of our conference schedule.

    Bingo...

The problem with our team is simple..

Jordan Jefferson is not as bad as people try to play him to be, but hasn't yet proven that he is as good as we need him to be...

And to further that problem his teammates (aka WR) dont make enough plays to help him out. We've had more than a few dropped ball through 3 games...

    And to further that problem...

Jordan Jefferson doesn't call the plays, nor design the scheme...

    Thats all on coaching...

The proof is in the pudding when watching our offense and our defense.

One has a guy that knows what he's doing,

And the other makes you wonder how he ever got a job.

Because, from a skill standpoint, both sides of the ball are stacked with a full deck of spades.

And our defense looks like its all world, while are offense looks mediocre.
Most problems and solutions can be traced back to the source.

The catch 22 with being a Tiger fan is that CLM is that he has proven to be a damn good recruiter, and that saves his but because we've been stacked with talent for sometime now, but our coaching seems to sell us short at the most crucial points and times....

And with all that said, we are still 3-0, and ranked in the top 15 in all of the schools on the planet.

CLM just needs his offensiv coaching to catch up with his offensive talent.

Chavis has all cannons loaded and pistols cocked wearing an all black t-shirt with "NO MERCY" written in red.....in real blood.. :crystal:

If the coaches call to win the game LSU should win this one fairly convincingly. Not taking anything away from W VA but this team isnt as good as their teams of a few years back. LSU is at home with a lot more overall talent. Despite not playing near its best ball LSU has looked more impressive, against better competition.

West Va doesnt play a tough D at all so the coaches should really let it go. Lets see what JJ can or really cant do. Time to let the reigns go here to maximize the talent of this team. West Va is a smaller DL so LSU should control the line of scrimmage. Hopefully we can establish the run here.

On D, LSU has played well. West Va will challenge our D though. West Va has two super quick players who are great in space. Devine and Sanders will really test the tackling skills of LSU. While we swarm well to the ball the tackling as a whole has be poor. We see far too many broken tackles. LSU doenst wrap up or drive well through tackles. Its been like this for a few years now.

I think LSU should win this game. Its just how impressive we look. The play calling will have a lot to do with that. JJ does have to make his improvements though no matter how the coaches call the game. He needs better poise and delivery. He just needs confidence. Does he have the mind set of a big time QB?

When they play us, Mr. Pouncey will have to deal with Mr. Nevis while trying to get the ball to Mr. Brantley. Mr. Pouncey's problem will be amplified because of Mr. Nevis's prescence!:D
