This is a good question, and I'm not sure of the answer. LSU is loaded with potential talent, with a few guys of proven talent at this level. We were playing Tennessee, a Top 10 program, who recruits just as well as anybody and has been a program that reloads. So, I don't know who had more talent. I think we were outcoached to be sure, but I also don't want to overlook the fact we were playing a strong, strong team.

Anyone who thinks this team is going to come out and lose to a MSU or Vandy needs to just leave the board because you are idiots... Two main factors determine a teams success... coaching and talent level.... LSU's talent level is so high above MSU and Vandy that they will still blow them out of the water regardless of coaching... Be more worried about Ole Miss, Alabama, and Auburn... Right now i consider Florida a loss... The short passing game will kill us..

If we loose to either one of those teams miles will or should just walk away but there is no way in the world that happens. This team is 10x better than either one of those teams. But we needed a miracle to beat kentucky a few years ago so you never know what might happen.:geauxtige

I'm pretty sure that State will be no problem for us. Vandy on the other hand has a good passing game with Cutler at QB and with our soft ass scheme I think that will cause at least some troubles.

check out Tenn's recruiting versus LSU's the last few years. Ask any recruiting expert and we have the most talent in the country or second behind USC. Don't fool yourselves we have the players but no coach. Also LSU had much more talent than ASU and LSU should have lost that game, so Vandy is a huge challenge. One year has made all the difference in the world.

Don't jump off the bandwagon yet guys. You have a great team that simply was outcoached/outplayed last night. It happens. You will not lose to Vandy or Miss State. Leave that to the Hogs.

can I help out here? You're both right.

    1. We are loads more talented than UT. by a mile. at MOST every position except a HUGE one.... QB ... that brings us to # .....

2.We are supposed to be "loaded" at QB. We aren't. or it remains to be seen.

3.Our coaching is questionable, so you are right on the money, coaching is a great equalizer, say what you will about phat phil but he isn't a johnny come lately, he's been there. Miles hasn't.
