You dont know what the hell you are talking about, do you? I wasnt going to even respond to this, but this is far too ignorant for me not to. When you live your life as a black person, you let me know and then we can have a discussion about the ignorance in your post. Just cultural factors? right, thats what you are basing your entire statement on, cultural factors? lol, I have to laugh at that. I almost split my side.
Is the truth easier to swallow when it comes out of the mouth of a black man? Is Bill Cosby black enough or is he not allowed to speak the truth either?
You still dont get it and its not worth my time explaining something to you that you dont even get. Bill Cosby has alot of great points, which I agree with im alot, but you did nothing more but provide ignorant sweeping generalizations of a life you have never experienced or lived. So thanks for playing, get your free t-shirt at the door.
I will explain it to you in detail. With my experiences. Victimizations? Grandfather: joined the army at 15, lied about his age. Was on the beach during the normandy invasion, decorated army vet. got treated like crap when he came back to Louisiana. Worked odd jobs, saved up enough money to buy his on rig, delivered groceries up down the state of Louisiana for years, while raising 7 kids, in central Louisiana. as he got older, both of his legs amputated because of poor veterans healthcare and diabetes. I never heard him complain about a freaking thing in his life. Died when I was 10, now Im 28. I still dont know how old he was, never had a birth certificate. He is biggest influence in my life, taught me more about life than I have ever learned in the 18 years after he passed. I thought about him more than anyone last night. Father: raised during Jim Crow and segregation, graduated college, raised 5 kids, presided over one of the biggest private-govt land deals in Floridas and US history as the CFO of a govt entity. Uncle: Joined the marines, fought in Vietnam. Started his own cleaning business. Never complained. Uncle: President of a NBA franchise, which has been succesful. Doesnt make excuses, never complained. I could go on, but I wont, like I said, ignorant sweeping generalizations.
No thank you for the typical liberal response of attacking the messenger instead of addressing the issues. I'm not Jewish or German but I don't have to be to know the holocaust was an evil occurrence. I'm not a football player but I know when I see holding or pass interference. And I'm not black but I can see a whole host of self-limiting problems in the black community that have nothing to do with racism and have everything to do with personal responsibility and morality.
more ignorant comparisons, this has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative. Just ignorance. Nothing to do with racism? You are blinded by your own ideology to understand anything that goes against your hate.
I'm seeing a pattern here. Thanks for making my point. Your own family's personal experience's don't reflect the majority of blacks in America. They do however make my and Bill Cosby's points.
Man, I hated Detroit but Dumars was always the classiest, never whine, always hustle players on that team. And one of the best of his era. Dieing breed in sports...
