www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2017/09/lsu_football_fumble_first_play.html Orgeron declined to pin blame on anybody. "I make all the calls," he said. "Everything goes through me. I should have checked it. I didn't, all right? Everything goes through me. No pointing the fingers at anybody." So much for not keeping his chubby fingers out of the Offense & turning LSU into 2007 Ole Miss..
Who can he blame? He's completely reliant on coordinators to run his team. But I'm not even sure he has the political moxie to understand that he's gonna need a scapegoat at the end of the season to save his job if worse comes to worst.
Ok, here is something I will criticize O for. I think he handles this comment horribly. You don't publically throw your offensive coordinator OR running back under the bus like this. Handing the ball to Brossette was a reasonable call. Hell, he made 5 yards. To diss him as a 3rd string back, and the obvious dig at Canada is very troubling.
When asked about the missed field goal, he said that Jack was kicking great Thursday. Jack might kick great during practice but the kid seems to have issues with kicking under pressure.
I agree. Especially since in every other sentence since he has been coach he has referred to Nick by name. That was intentional and I feel it was also pretty fucking douchey.
Not sure where to put this, but Orgeron is putting Jacoby Stevens back at safety now that Ed Paris is out. index.ssf/2017/10/jacoby_stevens_works_with_dbs.html#incart_river_mobile_home_pop
