Did you read past the first sentence of my post? Yes Jefferson should play, just don't expect him to be a savior getting his first PT.

I agree with your statement. I believe the coaches decisions are based on a lot more "intel" than we fans have.

BUT - I HONESTLY expected to see a good bit of JJ as the change of pace QB today. I thought that's why they went ahead and burned his redshirt last week. Now that decision seems questionable.

However, going back to my first sentence, the coaches really do know a lot more than the fans know.

I'm not giving up on CLM. Not by a longshot. I still believe in him.

That decision seemed questionable after he handed the ball off on his only 5 snaps of the game on the last drive of the game. Especially if he had no intentions of giving him increased playing time each week. With the success Lee had on the two option plays early I found it shocking Jefferson didn't get a chance to run a couple of those type plays.

I don't understand the whole freshmen can't play thing. This is not the 1960s any longer. Freshmen QBs play all the time now. The good ones start to show improvement by game 9 and no longer play like Freshman QBs. Terrelle Pryor plays this year. Colt McCoy played as a true freshman. Lee is redshirt that means not only should be playing better to start than these two guys but he should be improving as the season goes on. He can no longer be considered a freshman he is 9 games into the season.

Today's offenses and defenses are fairly complex. No one said they can't play, it's just very rare that they play well.

I know exactly the play you are referring to. You are 110% correct. At this stage I would prefer George Jefferson at QB. Hell I would even settle for Weesie.

I think if Lee is going to play I would go all Danny Weurffel and only allow him to throw the fade route. That is the only pass he can throw well and at least if it is picked it most likely will not go for TD for the other team.

How could it be any worse at this point. 13-32 with 4 interceptions come on. At least Jefferson presents a running threat.

Please show me a post, any post, by me or anyone else that says we would be worse off with Jefferson playing. Who exactly are you arguing with this point with?

Amen, I agree with those that say at least give us a chance.
If we are turning over the ball in every game with Lee, why not five JJ a shot?
I couldn't agree with cajun punk
