I kinda made it as well. I was using a crock pot so I basically just used the ingredients as a guideline and then used my red beans prep procedure. It came out okay. I think it tastes like it is missing something. I brought some to work and the people that tried said they think it is amazing. I'll prolly tweak it a little anyway until I get it the way I imagined it since I am the one that has to eat it.
I wish, it's stuffed full. I have to import my boudin. I will bring the rest and dump it on the troops at work.
