    ill be doing that with some red beans later. whats your favorite sausage? i still like mandas even though some say its overrated.

    A tradition at our tailgate is to have Manda sausage and I like what is sold in the store. I firmly believe that a lesser grade is used in the stadium. At the house, we like Savoie's:

    This goes with what red said about the ham and beans...try it over some hot cornbread...yummy!

    I made this yesterday and it is impressive. Recipe yields a ton so if you are cooking for two, even three, cut it in half.

    I kinda made it as well. I was using a crock pot so I basically just used the ingredients as a guideline and then used my red beans prep procedure. It came out okay. I think it tastes like it is missing something. I brought some to work and the people that tried said they think it is amazing. I'll prolly tweak it a little anyway until I get it the way I imagined it since I am the one that has to eat it.
