2 things; 1. My age gives me the advantege to know that back then that brushing would have been a simple 5 yd penalty not 15. A simple 5 yd penaly would have not given USC the crucial 1st down. 2. If you were there or watched that entire play from the snap, I did both, you have also seen that USC was offsides too.
