We are 10-1 and headed to the SEC CG. I am happy. Relieved. and returned from the edge of an Heart Attack to be thrilled. Those close games just drive me to pace but when Laron caught that last ball i was very,very, happy. Thanks Tigers Lets Beat them dirty dogs.

That's true. If you keep score, only about 10% or less of the regular posters here are real crybabies.
I only count about five hard-core Miles bashers and some of them are wise enough to have toned down the rhetoric. Perhaps they have even reconsidered. But there are a few that just have no concept of football reality. If LSU doesn't win a national championship in each and every year, we must fire the coach!
Did anyone catch the after game report on 98.1 in Baton Rouge? They must have taken calls from only the 10%, sounded the same as this board with all the bashing. It makes me sick to think the players, coaches and their families have to listen to a bunch of idiotic fans after a win. They held back nothing yesterday, sounded like we lost the game and were not going to a bowl game. All the bitching has just about ruined the season for me, it's hard to log on to this board and read some of the post by our so called fellow LSU fans...:dis: Oh well this season is almost over, can't wait to listen to all the doom and gloom for next year......and to keep us occupied we still have the bashing for Basketball and BaseBall to look forward to.....:thumb: Gosh it's great to be a Tiger fan.........
I'll bet that that, right after the game last night, if you took a poll of all LSU Tiger fans, those who had a negative comment or two would have out-numbered those who had nothing but positive comments to offer. Does anyone have a different opinion? If you do, you know that you are wrong. However, that does NOT mean that we don't need to work harder to find good things to say about our coaches and our team. The simple fact of the matter is that, it is often easier to be negative than it is to find something positive. That's why we all need to work harder to be more civil in our discourse, and more positive in our outlook on the team, coaches . . . . and our fellow message board members.
it really sucks because it seemed to take soo long for this season to get here and then with the hurricanes it just dragged out getting started. we lost everything from rita and are still living at the mother-in-laws and each week i look towards the games to give me an escape from how screwed up everythng is. i surf basically every sports and lsu related site each week reading anything on lsu football because it really helps me pass the time. here we are and the regular season has ended, that really sucks because that means another long offseason is coming and this season that seemed to take soo long to get hear and drag out to get started is already ending. i can understand people voicing their opinion about something that they are not happy with but it seems there are people that ONLY have negative things to say, why are they even hear? how can someone be an lsu football fan and only have negative things to say and not be happy for where we are? its really hard coming here and reading through some of the things that are posted. what a great season and its hard to believe its already coming to the end.
Most fear the gutless, easily satisfied Fat, Dumb and Happy Miles Homers ... and they keep their opinions to themselves ... content that the determined few who won't accept "LESS THAN THE BEST" will deliver the message ... and there are a helluva lot more than 5 on this forum that aren't sheep. Your "Miles homerism" is duly noted, Red ... along with the rest of the "posse". If LSU continues to have games like Tennessee, play poor uninspiring offensive play ... MILES IS A GONE PECAN ... and there ain't **** you or the rest of the "posse" can do about it ... it's just a matter of time. LSU has climbed the mountain :crystal: ... and we ain't gonna settle for LESS THAN THE BEST!!! Get a clue, cartoon character.
Don't let them get to you. If you follow the threads, the whiners are getting called out pretty seriously by the mature fans. They only get support from their own. Kind of like Rex and Contained Chaos at FSA.:hihi:
