Happy holidays back at ya. And :geauxtige.

Do I really need to offer statistical data to back my claim that FOX is divisive, and IMO bad for America? I watch FOX News quite a lot, I find it ridiculously partisan and often times petty. You offer statistics that claim FOX News treated Obama fairly and was actually tougher on McCain than Obama. If you believe that, I don't know what to tell you... You're in too deep, man.

Do you struggle to formulate opinions on a regular basis when statistics are not available? Do you really believe some rigid formula designed to judge fairness is going to be equal to a discerning individual? I can possibly see using a formula for comparison sake (compared to other networks FOX News was most skewed against Obama), but I'm not interested in comparing FOX with other networks. My original comment was mostly in relation to FOX and my view of reality.

I'm sorry if I come off as taking shots at you. I do feel like giving you blunt criticism is not uncalled for, but I don't really mean most of what I say to be mean spirited. My opinion of your posts my have dropped a few notches lately, but I still find your point of view to be regularly interesting. It is also true that in the past I've had a pretty high opinion of your posts; I still consider you one of the more readable members here.

Back to this same age old argument.
I would just say that Fox News is closer to the center than any other network.
Whats worse than being partison are networks that pretend to be objective but are not, they are leaning left and were also cheeleaders for Obama.
Cbs, Nbc and Abc followed him on his world tour worshipping at his feet.
They didn't follow any republican or give any independent the same treatment.

Obama wouldn't be **** without the leaning left media pumping him up.

Obama won't need any help to fail.

His economic plans simply won't work because they are flawed to begin with.

If he doesn't lower corporate tax rates, he will see record unemployment when the minimum wage is adjusted again. Too many union job wages are indexed to be raised anytime the minimum wage is adjusted.

Raising the minimum wage was the worst thing that Pelosi and Reid did over the last two years of congressional leadership.

I recommend a couple nights watching Olbermann and Rachel Maddow for a little perspective.

By the way, I read in the NY Daily News this morning that Fox News President, Roger Ailes, told O'Reilly, Hannity and Susteren to back off Obama for a while. What's up with that?

Maybe I should try to watch Gobblerman, maybe it would split some of this disgust I feel so I don't hate on FOX as much. I have noticed that FOX seemed to be taking it lighter than usual on Obama the past few days. But I still trust 'em as far as I can kick 'em.

Because the conservatives are in danger of losing their moderate pragmatists like George Will and Ed Rollins.

i hope that obama is extremely successful in turning this economy around and a million other problems. no i did not vote for him but now that he is president-elect then he deserves an opportunity to right the ship.

my party abdicated that responsibility....whether i like it or not....

the office deserves our respect and i will give it to him until he proves not worthy of my respect. i think that is our responsibility as citizens, to agree when we can and to respectfully disagree with reasoned thought when we cannot.

Say what you want about talk radio, but FOX news was remarkedly fair in how it covered the campaigns.

I seriously doubt if Ailes told O'Reilly or anyone else anything. In fact, O'Reilly was very fair in how he covered Obama. I would not say that was true of Hannity or Susteren.
