I think he'll add to the atrociousness of the Bush years. McCain would've done the same, which is why I voted for Paul.

I mostly agree with your post, except for the thought that those of us on the right seem to be dying out; I just feel that the right has not given us better choices... we should demand better choices.

If Obama is promising to "unite the country" when he becomes President, I take that to mean he is promising to be a moderate in his role as president. Can't blame him for that, if I were president, I'd try to be a moderate as well, one that ties to unite, one that tries to find the middle ground, etc. Is this possible? If so, is Obama capable of discerning what is moderate? Also, we have to consider: is Obama just lying, feeding us crap, giving us empty promises? I don't know. We'll see. But right now I believe that Obama wants to be a President that tries to find the middle ground, a President that, like he said, tries his best to be a "President for All Americans." We'll see.

In his concession speech, Senator McCain said:
USA! :usaflagwa USA! :usaflagwa USA! :usaflagwa

UNITED WE STAND!!!!! DIVIDED WE FALL!!!!!!

When US corporations were allowed to return their wealth to the US without a huge tax burden, they had plenty of capital to create jobs. This was cut off as soon as the Democrats took over Congress.

So, 2005 was the turning point. McCain was right in saying that US corporations need a better tax rate. (35% is second highest in the world)

If Obama does what he has said he will do, we will see a total and complete economic mess.

Your argument is that Democrats haven't taken Economics 101? Think you might be dumbing things down a bit? Maybe it all goes back to the creation of the Fed back around 1912 and maybe both sides hold portions of the blame?

The economy will turn around and begin to boom again under Obama... but not due to his policies... its called "the economic cycle"... 1979, recession; 1987, recession; 1992, recession; 2000, recession; 2008, recession...

The unforunate thing is that Obamas policies will weaken us both morally and militarily... Sure, the world will love us... The world loves Switzerland too...

    His voting record says otherwise.
