I may be late to the game here, but when the hell did that tidbit come out? I have heard that he was a Marine, that he was 15, that he was a felon in FL...but never that he has a broken neck. I guess I'll just add that to the growing pile of rumor that I have been hearing about all this.
Nevermind. Just saw it on The Advocate.... One man was knocked unconscious and another man suffered three fractured vertebrae in a Friday bar fight reportedly involving LSU football players, Baton Rouge police said Tuesday. The other two men injured in the brawl outside Shady’s bar at 623 E. Boyd Drive were cut and bruised, Police Chief Dewayne White said following a news conference at police headquarters. The names of the men injured in the fight were not released. However, White said, the man who was knocked unconscious and suffered contusions to his head, nose and hands is a Marine.
What I find interesting is that of the 4 people who went to the hospital, NONE of them were admitted. They were treated and released. If one had 3 broken vertebrates, he would have been admitted immediately! What's up with that?
Maybe no xrays were taken that night. The next day the drunk dude woke up with a swollen neck and went get xrays then. My guess. The cops wouldn't have said it if they didn't have a doctor's report stating it in black and white.
