I sensed that and almost called you on it but THAT would've been opinion- at that time, anyway.

 

No... If JJ is not arrested, there would be no reason to bench the kid, but I bet it will be a while before the team (including JJ) stops seeing stadium runs. This punishment of ext a running will not like end very soon.

On the Cliff side... if I am ever lucky enough to meet this guy, his first few beers are on me. He always seems to lighten the mood here.

I don't want jj to be in trouble. Don't get me wrong. I just don't believe we have a new and improved jj after watching the spring game. The best jj will be is the cotton bowl jj. The cotton bowl jj may be enough to win it all. If jj isn't guilty of kicking the dude he shouldn't be punished for it. I don't want to see the kid's football life ruined. I just don't ever want to see the tenn game jj ever again. The cotton bowl jj is cool.

 

I can't disagree with a single thing there.

 

JJ didn't have a QB camp, summer work outs, fall camp, and the extra one on one time with krag that he has now... not saying he'll be a heisman but I think a very much improved JJ is what's on the 2011 menu.
