Don't you think LSU should be winning more than 2 games within the division and is better than .500 in SEC play? Not trying to start shit here, just asking an honest question.
The obvious regression imo is the trend of losing to rkansas almost every other year now, hell even when we do beat them, it's a long drag out fight that we barely escape. The "their our closest division rival and always plays us tough" drivel is bullshit. Bama plays all the same teams we do every year, and minus this season always trounces the pigs, and almost never loses a game, and even in defeat plays competitive football and never gets trounced by anyone. While we're stuck with 3 and Outs, and watching our inept QB complete less than 10 passes a game with a whopping 50% pass proficiency.
And... i'll add paying a coach $4M+ a yr for a .500 conference record is bullshit. Guess Alleva is content on paying for mediocrity. Hell Cam Cameron is the 3rd highest paid Coordinator in CFB and the product he puts on the field would make most people return said product, the offense is embarrassing.
Red, my guess is that if LSU only slightly improves over the next TWO seasons, you will be ready for a new head coach. Is this a fair assessment? And with regard to Alleva, Red, is he a good AD?
I think Alleva just might be retarded. I hope/wish we could get a real AD, a football dominant AD that wouldn't mind throwing $$$ at top tier coaches and holds the standard of product to a higher standard.
So 8-5 is getting the job done in your opinion??! I'm sure glad I don't share your acceptance of mediocrity. Sad sad sad!
