I have been silent for a long time, but, it is interesting . . .

Exactly! It starts on the recruiting trail and finding the right fit. Been said a hundred times out here. We continue to bring these mobile QB's (which Miles seems to love) and then try to fit them into a pro-style offense. Mett worked because he had the talent and he fit the system. I just don't see the type of QB on this team that will work in the type of offense that Miles wants to run. So change the system or find the QB that fits the current system. Too many round pegs and square holes going on with this team. And that is a coaching issue. Can't blame the kids for that one.

Yes! The fact that this issue has been around so long is a fireable offense. I'm not advocating that Miles be fired, but he has to get this fixed. LSU will not compete for any championships with the glaring hole at QB.

Not sure if we played any team this year who had a clearly worse QB than Jennings.

Hey, I am not saying that he is a bad kid or not trying. But something is horribly wrong with the way Miles recruits and manages QB's.

It's the scheme. Chavis has been running the same thing since his Tennessee days. Every coach in the country knows how to beat it at this point.

For me, bowl games are the greatest litmus test for a coaches ability. Yesterday, we got dominated by a clearly inferior team. That does not look good on the coaching front.

I'm gonna wait until next year to see what Miles has up his sleeve for the QB before making any judgements.

I mean really, what has changed in the last week? Most of the people here are just worked up because we lost to Notre Dame, a team that wasn't supposed to be able to "handle" the SEC, whatever the hell that means.

What, we were REALLY gonna dance in the streets for a win in the Music City Weedwacker Bowl???

Ummm, Notre Dame's offense is inferior to LSU how???

I saw lots of speed and QB play that far exceeded ours. Sorry to break it to you...

We were a train wreck all night on both sides of the ball, yet we were still a blown call and missed field goal away from probably winning. Sounds like an inferior team to me.

Also, look at the product we give on Sundays. We haven't seen that kind of talent coming out of one place so rapidly since those early 2000 miami teams.

This is absolutely the case. If I still hated the Cowboys, I'd be miserable right now with all of the bandwagoning fans and the media. As it is, it's salvaging an otherwise disappointing football season for me.
