I wish we would fire the entire staff. Clean house and start fresh. Shove Miles down the road as hard and fast as we can move him and his hat. Pull the dumpsters up next to the building and line up the UHauls. No one stays.

Then maybe this board can have something new to bitch about and we can be unified. It gets tiring sorting through all the cussing, finger pointing, name calling and everything else that melts down around here. Negatigers vs Sunshine pumpers throwing insults at each other and getting pissed off about something they cannot control nor change.

I think it's safe to say that there is plenty of disappointment surrounding this current program. We all want a better product on the field. That's a good start. So let's have better conversations and debates that are realistic, more respectful and fun. I love the Tigers as much as anyone but it's worthwhile to remember that football is entertainment. Period. It's in the same category as TV and Movies. It is not life. So keep the perspective, and although you may not agree with your fellow Tiger, love them anyway and treat them as a fellow teammate.

No, it is LSU once again being cheap. LSU should ante up a few more bucks for Chavis. There are things I disagree with but he has been our best coach.

I like Miles the man but face the facts. The program has been on a serious decline since '11. The coaching has not been up to par. The team has not been well prepared. There is no defending a coach who does not have the basic understanding of time management and has some sort of issue in more games than he doesn't. He refuses to adress the issue. I could go on but I won't. The writing is there if you choose to look at it..

 

There should be no need for any other, but circumstances dictate.....

 

I agree with you on the Bama losses. That said, this is on Miles. It is NOT about wins. It is the culture. You never see LSU bring a full game to the table. One or two areas are always absent. Look at this season, LSU was late to quite a few games. The D did improve but other than that there was no improvement in this team. Eventually you have to look at the HC. Again, I do not base my criticism on the record but the product on the field.

 

I'm not ever watching another les miles coached game again,I'm done with his dumbass shenanigans . He's like a little spoiled brat everything has to be his idea. If the media and fans never questioned Jennings I think we would have seen alot more of Brandon Harris. It has to be his idea or he shows his arrogance by doing things even if it's not on the best interest of the team to make a mockery of the media and fans. Fuck miles because he's gonna make me miss the best running back LSU has ever had guess I'll just have to watch the highlight films cause I'm not wasting another year watching this buffoon piss away talent with his horrible coaching.

 

I know scoreboard is scoreboard, and it is.

That is the quantitative stuff, the stuff of one game, and 28 points ain't all that shabby (even agains the notorious ND D).

However, qualitatively, the stuff of seasons and dynasty, long plays do not add up to sustained repeated, well balanced drives. They just don't. Qualitatively.

And that summarizes, succinctly the issue. Our record, over the last "n" years is great, but the quality is not consistent and often missing. Losing to Bama, sucks, but when they are #1, it is gonna happen. Losing to Iowa, and or ND, or Wattsamtta U, or even playing Townson, sucks. When you can't pass with any confidence, and the best runner in the state, if not the nation touches the ball 11 times, the qualities of long term success are absent.

I am "pro" Miles, but I am "pro" LSU Football more. And, the ACC a-holes with whom I live, will now claim the idiotic Domers as full fledged, die hard, ACCer's and I will have to hear that shit for a year. Or more. Though once B-ball gets her in full swing, they will forget, I hope!

 

That happens, I hated the Redskins until I had to read the Washington Post every day for four years, memorizing 3 sport stories a day for the first year. They became my homies. As much as I did not want to buy in to the Panthers, the "home" team kind of gets to you by osmosis, or something!

 

Like I said, I agree. I blame Chavis for his prevent D. I'm not at all a fan of it or the 4 or 5 losses because of it over the last two or three years.

Fact is though if our O was not so damn shitty we could have won more. You can not blame the OC either. Three different OC's and same shitty O. That is on Miles. No matter how you shake it, eventually you have to look at the HC. Which you choose not to.
