I got the Pfizer vaccine on 12/18 - not a single reaction/symptom. No redness, soreness nothing. Couldn’t even tell where the shot was. Will get second dose on Jan 8. It’s possible to get a reaction after second dose so we will see. I have diabetes and asthma so am a bit more at risk, although my Vitamin D level is 57 which is good. I went to Louisiana for Thanksgiving then drove to Orlando and went to Disneyworld for a week. Then I stopped at my Uncle’s house in Mobile on the way back - they were recovering from Covid. Did not get it there either. Anyway, hope everyone stays healthy
Once his site died, I figured at least a few would return home. @Nutriaitch posts every now and then, but for the most part, none have returned. Guess they're either on TOS or not posting anywhere anymore. Damn shame.
He got Covid and was in hospital on ventilator. He is off now and will move to a rehab place soon if he hasn’t already. His wife also got it but is managing at home. This was the last update we got right before Christmas: “Just heard from Lourdes Hospital. Michael has been transferred back to the fourth floor out of CCU... he is going to need to be on reduced oxygen... he will need physical therapy... being on the ventilator leaves them pretty weak. then he may go to Baptist Hospital to a care unit for recovering Covid patients... if he doesn’t getapproved for that he’ll be back at Parkview for a bit.”
