Delusional to think he is still in it? Not delusional at all. Is he a favorite to win it? Of course not. Does he still have a shot? Sure he does. Will he be one of the 4-5 sitting at the ceremony? He will if he does well the next two games. I think Henry wins the award, but Fournette is not out of it by any means.
you edited it-- so i guess you had to google it to know he wasnt the favorite like you claimed. anyone with eyesight the last 2 weeks knew that without looking.
as long as henry doesnt blow out an acl its his. because head-up LF was embarrassed and Henry set a record or two.
Heard a little while ago that the Heisman Watch List has Fournette listed as one of the possible breakthrough players behind their top 5. He may not even get a trip to New York.
IF Fournette was going to win the Heisman, it was because of what he did in the last 4 games of the year. Right now he is behind the 8 ball, and a long shot, but I think two strong performances (150+ each game) gets him to NY. He won't win, but he will be sitting on the front row.
One of the drawbacks to everyone basically giving him the award in October leaves no room for error. College football is flawed in that it's much easier to lose early or play bad early and overcome it than it is in November.
I want to see LF7 win it as much as anyone but with two, possibly three or four losses it's not looking likely. Not to mention his production has dropped with the two losses. He has zero to do with him not winning the award though. He is clearly the best player in the country, but the OL, QB, and coaching lost it for him. This is now Henry's to lose.
Griffin the Turd won it with 3 losses, Teblow won it with a few losses in 07 as well. It can be done and he still has a shot but he has to go oft in the next 2 weeks, like 250 a game and 6 TD's.
