I agree. I feel completely empty after this win. WVU was completely out of the game, and if we had anywhere near an average QB we would have blown them away.
Agree that Crowton needs to go. The playcalling stinks, plain and simple. Yes, JJ is bad, but the receivers can play better. Too many drops. RS still doesn't get enough touches and still doesn't look comfortable as a receiver. :geauxtige
Les will wait until LSU is down by 10-14 points, then throw Lee to the Lions. You still don't get how Les operates yet.
The only way Lee will throw 2 pick 6's is if he's not getting any meaningful reps in the games leading up to Florida. . . . . . .oh wait.
At least you guys were able to pull out a win. Our offensive co-ordinator screwed us on that last 2 drives. We had to go 90 yards and he was handing it off to an injured Devine. Our offense was horrible. We have some of the fastest guys in the country and we just gave up getting them the ball.
We're 4-0 but we haven't beat a legitimate top 25 team and we won't if the offense does not get a lot better. I said this in another thread but, this team has striking similarities to the Jim Mora coached Saints.....Great defense that wins games, a bad OC, and an anemic offense that is way to willing to settle on FG's instead of TD's. Just like the Mora teams, we get ultra conservative in the red zone, knowing that Jasper (Anderson) will get us three. And just like Mora's Saints, you'll beat the weak because of your defense and struggle with the rest. Look at our two TD's...a seven yard drive and a punt return....that won't cut it.
yeah - that's it. I've been trying to figure out how I felt about this game and you've hit it just right. I feel empty. AFTER A WIN? That can't be good. Still, a win is a win and better than a loss. I'll probably enjoy the win more tomorrow, but right now it just doesn't feel like a win. :geaux:
