I would like to add to this if I may, even though I have yet to "donate''. Could it be possible he was also trying to point out that there was a minimum amount you have to donate. The point I think he was really trying to make was if you are asking for donations don't put a minimum amount on it just accept what people can afford, like telethons do. Putting a minimum amount stipulation on the donation does make it seem like it is a pay site not a donation. Now having said what I said I think I am going to ask my dad for his credit card so We can "donate" to the cause.:thumb:

 

this could be a valid argument. when brett first asked for donations he said that he wouldn't ask for much. most people, including myself, would think that $20 means "not much" in terms of donating. brett put $12 just to add clarity to his meaning as "not much."
