God knows, I am dreading the after.:bncry:
  2. my post was edited. anyways im over it.

Crip why no tailgating? I don't understand what the out of towners think the campus looks like but you can't even tell there is a shelter there besides the extra traffic. Besides by next week the PMAC won't be being used as a staging area. I don't see any reason why the game can't go on as normal.

  3. There, his entire post has been restored.

Now everyone can easily see what he thinks of this forum. I figured I was doing him a favor by deleting that. Maybe he had a bad day or something and said things he otherwise would never had said.

Nonetheless, attacking practically every member on the forum is not very wise. It is certainly not within the terms of the user Agreement but oh well.

So, let his post stand and be recognized as the beacon of his thoughts about all of us who participate in this forum.

He even now claims to be a founding member. I am so happy to see that he takes such pride in this forum as a founding member.
  4. Ya got a good heart, Crip!
  5. Okie try to find it here http://ngs.woc.noaa.gov/katrina/KATRINA0000.HTM

You can't actually type in an address but you can click the boxes and zoom until you find a street you recognize and then follow it to the address. It was taken yesterday.
  6. actually '99 i meant its not to common as of late on this board. Maybe i should have typed it better but I meant what i said. People haven't been using common sense lately.

  7. Well then quit yer bitchin! :thumb: :thumb: :)

  8. Maybe you didnt read what I have said on the other threads about this subject or maybe it just wasnt clear.

It is not about the shelter, it is not about the looks, it is even not about the traffic.

The problem is going to be the people who have gotten out of N.O. and have made their way to Baton Rouge. The people you dont see the ones that are leaving on the street. The same people that have been doing the carjackings that I have read about.

It is the saftey of the fans that worries me. Some of the people in Baton Rouge now could very well be some of the people doing the looting and shooting in N.O. and did that thought just escape everyones mind.

Just because you dont see them or there hasnt been an reports does not mean they are not there. And having 100,000 drunk fans in one general area it could be a disaster. I hope nothing happens I really do I hope I get to watch the game.

It killed me yesterday when I looked at my watch and saw that it was 11 and my sweat didnt smell like Jim Beam. But I have a really bad feeling as to what could happen if these thugs that escaped the city deicided to go shopping.

I understand life must go on, but people have seem to forgotten that this event has brought out the inner animal in some people and survial is all that matters to them.

I could not fathom the results if someone was to open fire on the parade grounds or around the stadium. Trust me I want nothing more then to watch LSU play, but I also dont want to see anything happen to anymore of my brothers and sisters.

I hope to God I am wrong, but I had a really bad feeling about this hurricane, which I posted here sereval times, and I have a bad feeling at the cost of playing a home game so soon.
  9. Anyone who trys to car jack me on Saturday will simply become the secret incredient in the gumbo pot.
