    If the product were legal, the black market in the product would disappear and the gangsters along with them.

    Prohibition greatly expanded organized crime in the US but when liquor was legalized the whole market vanished along with the rum runners, speakeasies, moonshiners, and the violent hoods that controlled the trade.

    Do you think that they deserve a free ride and immunity from the law if they get past the border? That is just improper and wrong.

    I'll rephrase. Why do you think its proper to stop illegals near the border "where the crime was committed" and improper to do so elsewhere? Why do you think it is less of a crime to be here illegally than to come here illegally?

    IT, you have made several comments like that. Given the tone of the sum, the result is somewhat caustic, ie vitriolic. That said, I do like the word snarky. Nice job Red!

    Never said it was less of a crime and I said I have a problem wit the application of apprehension once they are here. There is a difference.
