which consequences, the zero percent chance this power threat crap happens? again, even if this one dude was hellbent on cutting power, he couldnt do it. even if he could do it, which he cant and wont, the feds would come in and stop him. brownouts and power loss are serious and hospitals and such need power, and feds would never let it happen in a million years. besides what i just said, there are maybe 100 more valid reasons why this is all meaningless nonsense. again, utilities are heavily regulated and there are contracts, you dont just cut the power over some political BS. stop listening to these stories as if they are serious.
not sure how punishing yourself is a smart way to punish arizona. what you are saying makes no sense.
I believe they understand, just want to pretend they don't because it helps when they're always right.
and another +1. Even my 12 year old can understand it. They like to always be right and they just like to stir up crap.
The nonsense began with the hollow threats of a boycott. What's funny is when a group calls for a boycott and then the people who they're boycotting return the favor causing the original boycotters to call foul. :hihi: How often do boycotts work? Isn't this another political grandstanding measure? If you're going to keep your girls' basketball team home, why don't you keep your Lakers home too. ...or even a better idea...why don't they just boycott when it's convenient that way they can continue to be hypocrites. :thumb: Los Angeles...a city with 100 different races, colors, ethnicities, etc. but can't seem to assimilate. They have nerve calling out other areas due to discrimination and racism.
Didn't Arizona set the terms of this scenario when they proposed to cut off power if Californians boycotted the state? I guess it would be because Arizona chose to? I don't get what you're driving at... I guess that's accurate and it's reflected by my not giving a **** about either of these two places. Of course my concern with this kind oif legislation that was passed in Arizona is what ki8nd of precedent it sets. You never know when some backwards law in Arizona will be the justification for another backwards law in Louisiana and it might not be persecuting the brown skinned people here. Maybe they'll go after whitey? I guess it's just something so stupid I never thought that I would see it in America. Sounds more like something the French would do...
What is backwards or stupid about the law? I just don't see the problem with enforcing your borders. It's sort of like locking the doors to your car or house - but I guess you don't do that because it would be stupid and backward.
